Impact of CISV

Whether you are an educator, a parent, a volunteer or perhaps a donor, you want to know whether we are achieving our goals. We have recently undertaken a longitudinal study on the educational impact of CISV. Below is a short summary.

Over 95%

of the respondents felt that their CISV participation had been influential in developing their awareness of other people and different cultures or creating favourable attitudes towards people who may have initially seemed to be ‘different’.

75%

of respondents felt participation in CISV had developed leadership and cooperative abilities.

95%

of respondents agreed that CISV had provided “something that I would never have learned at school”. Interested in learning more? Read the journal article entitled Intercultural Understanding Through Personal Contact which draws on these research results.
