CISV Cincinnati Village 2022
CISV Cincinnati is hosting a Village in late June/July 2022! If you would like to volunteer in any way, please contact Carolina Purdy via email or call/text at 513-254-4157.
Program Invitations
11 year olds (Village) to South Korea, Finland, and India (Winter);
12-13 year olds (Youth Meeting) to Singapore, Austria, and Argentina (Winter);
14 olds (Step Up) to Finland and Germany;
15 year olds (Step Up) to France;
14 and 15 year olds (Interchange) to Denmark;
16 year olds (Junior Counselor) to Italy and China (both male);
16-17 year olds (Fortnite) to Washington DC;
21+ (Leaders) to some of the above.
Please note that this application cycle will be expedited due to the delay in program invitations.

Selection Interviews: January 22, 2022

President’s Message
Happy New Year CISV Friends and Family!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that the year is off to a great start.
We are so excited to announce that a delegation from Cincinnati is currently participating in an international program in Costa Rica. Thanks to everyone who made this possible – and a special thanks to Lexi and Nathan Sheets, our VP’s of Programs. They have done an amazing job supporting our chapter in sending our first delegation in almost two years. Thank you! It’s so good to be back.
We are looking forward to selecting delegates for our 2022 programs this month. It’s such an exciting time!

Information Session – ONLINE Jan. 9th
We moved our information session online this Sunday from 5-6 pm. We will be hosting a google meeting given the circumstances with COVID. Anyone interested in attending should email Jennifer at cincinnati-recruitment@cisvusa.org, to receive the google calendar invitation.
Help us spread the word!
We need help spreading the word that CISV programs are on and that we’re hosting the information session this Sunday! Here is a text that you can share on social media. Feel free to add a personal message.
“The Cincinnati CISV chapter is traveling again! We’re so pleased to have a full selection of programs available for children from 11-18!
Our programs span from Washington, DC to Finland to Austria and Singapore. If you have a child who’s curious about the world and creating opportunities for building peace through friendship and mutual understanding, we’d love to share more about each of the programs available!
We’re hosting a virtual information session this Sunday, January 9th from 5-6 pm. Please message Jennifer, cincinnati-recruitment@cisvusa.org to receive the meeting link.”

JB Update
JB Elections will be held online this year. Please fill out this form if you’re interested in being a part of the board! We encourage all who are interested to apply, as it’s a great opportunity to participate in CISV throughout the year. We are also currently planning some exciting activities that you will hear about soon, so be ready!
