President’s Message
It is still cold out, but we are gearing up for a great CISV summer! We still have a few slots to fill in our delegations for ages 10-15, so please encourage friends to apply! Let’s spread the word about CISV and send full delegations!
Make sure you mark March 31-April 2 on your calendar for Regional Minicamp (RMC). It is 2.5 days ofĀ fun with otherĀ CISV youth from the Midwest Region and open to any members of our chapter. It is hosted by the Northeast Ohio chapter (near Youngstown) and is only $125. We will be sending a van or more of participants. You may also want to chaperone and discover what a CISV camp is like yourself! Registration info will be coming soon!
Are you looking for ways to get more involved in our chapter? We are all volunteers, so we would gladly welcome you and your skills! We are particularly in need of a fundraising chair, a grant writer, and a social (FUN!) chair. We can train you! We also would love to have your help with our Step Up program this summer. We will be hosting 14 year olds from all over the world. It takes a village to pull this off! Please consider joining the planning committee, donating Kroger gift cards, hosting kids at a homestay, doing laundry, planning a welcome party, etc etc!

Cincinnati Step Up – Volunteers Needed!!!
Volunteers are needed to head Homestays, Airport Transportation, Set up and Tear down, Hospitality, Open Day, Excursions and more during the Step Up program in Cincinnati this summer. Want to be involved in CISV but don’t know where to start? This is the opportunity for you!
We have an exciting activity planned for next month, along with RMC (regional mini camp) coming up. We will send an email for registration when we receive it. It will be located in NorthEast Ohio, March 31-April 2nd. Stay tuned for more information!
