President’s Message
A Note from the President:
Another year ends and a new one begins in CISV! It was wonderful to connect with so many of you at the Parade of Delegations and hear about your summer CISV experiences! Our chapter successfully held a Step Up at Seven Hills School thanks to so many volunteer hands! I love when we are all able to pull together to provide another magical life changing CISV program for CISVers locally and from all over the world!
Fall is the time to spread the word about CISV! Do you know families with great kids born 2013 or earlier? Talk it up! Send them to our website and social media. Tell them about how CISV has benefitted your family! Then you can bring them to our Info Nights on November 14 or December 5! You are our best advertising!!
As always, we welcome and need your participation to make our chapter a success. We currently are looking for individuals to shadow our VP of Recruitment and VP of Programs and take over the positions next year. Please contact me to learn more about these board positions.
We had such a good time hosting our Step Up in 2023, we are doing it again in 2024! Please join us in pulling off another great program right here in Cincinnati! Do you know someone 19+ who would be a great local staff member? Send them my way! Laurie Leon, our current VP of recruiting, will be our amazing director so this will be a great team to be on! We will also be forming our planning committee in the coming months. Hope to see you there!
As always, I sincerely appreciate all this chapter is doing to keep CISV alive and well during these tumultuous times. Now more than ever we need our global community. I am grateful for our mission of educating and inspiring action for a more just and peaceful world!
