President’s Message
Late fall is an exciting time in CISV. We have our national conference CIM (CISV in Motion), we get invitations for next year’s programs, and we begin recruiting for those programs. CIM was held in October in Pittsburgh. I was pleased to attend with Brandon Lundeen, our Risk Manager, Arnita Davis, our 2023 Step Up Planner, and our fabulous Local Junior Representatives (LJRs) Paloma Lanzador and Ravi Bassett! It was the first in person CIM in several years, and all participants were so happy to experience the energy of being together again. What a great way to kick off our new year of CISV!
We are so happy to share our 2023 program invitations! Now is the time to get excited and recruit friends and family to participate! Is there an amazing teacher you know who would be a great leader? Are there kids and families in your community who could benefit from participating in a CISV program? Talk it up and get them involved! Bring a friend to Info Night on December 5. Let’s spread the word about CISV!

Seminar Camp
Applications for 2023 Seminar Camps are now on-line at this link.
Seminar selection is decided by a national selection committee, rather than local chapters. The applicants must be 16 or 17 years old the entire duration of the camp. Applications are due by January 1, 2023, but it is strongly encouraged to submit them sooner than later. If you are applying, please notify Kay Freyberger in order to receive the required chapter endorsement.
